Nothing - it was absolutely disgusting
Everything. It was dirty, dingy, foul. You have to be buzzed in to enter reception much like a prison cell... Clearly used by those entertaining ladies if the night. There is no orher reason for all walls to be covered in scratched mirrors? A circular wipe down pvc bed? The bathroom was so rank I could not even brush my teeth. The round circular bed had a wipe down PVC mattress with vomit down one side. There was no room to open my suitcase. My partner & I slept in our clothes. Had we not arrived at midnight after a long bus journey with plans to be up by 6am to get to airport we would have left. I was willing to sleep on airport floor rather than stay but my partner wouldn't. The 'hotel' was in a really rough part of town. It was also incredibly noisy - not only the road outside (no windows, only old dirty, wooden shutters that the 'curtain' did not cover because it was hanging off) but also people coming & going in the corridors. The ladies of the night heading back out to work perhaps?? The most disgusting place I've ever stayed.

The location of the hotel was great (even though it is not the Centro is not the best neighbourhood in Rio) and it was relatively cheap.
It was rather run down, a little dirty and very very noisy. Also, no English speaking staff!!

The bed was comfortable.
The structure, in general, is terrible. It should cost at max BRL 50 instead of the current price of BRL 90 for the single room (same proportion for other rooms). The shower didn't have hot water. Sometimes no one was at the reception desk to unlock the front door and allow the entrance late at night. Be careful with the frontal stairs too.

Pas grand chose. Casi nada.
One member of the staff was disrepectful to my wife. The quality and hygiene of the breakfast is intolerable.
